well, there are a lot of factors I guess... the supply and demand (there are a lot of Indians available), a lot of them have western degrees which really are highly valued here (I am not saying - right or wrong, it is just a fact) and yes, they do accept salaries lower than westerners (for comparable level of skill and responsibility). About the complaining bit... this I think is to do with personality, not nationality :o)
