As I said TCOM I'm sure you're a very nice person - but I stand by what I said - the vets are doing all they can and more. As I also said, I choose to help in my way - as you do in yours I'm sure.

I don't expect the person next to me to do the same as I do. A donation was suggested, we have the choice to give or not.

I disagree with your suggestion that the vets are "lining their pockets" at the expense of others. I know that many vets all over the world help a lot of animals without pay because they love them. However, they perform a service - just like a hairdresser or a dentist or me in my chosen profession and Iknow I can't afford to work for free for very long.

Let's just agree to disagree agreeably.
