Some of my customers have had success renting specailized equipment like crushers and screening plants for producing aggregate from the excavated material. There are not many doing this which allows you to get good money for your equipment.
If you had a loading shovel, an excavator, a crusher and a screen you could charge you customer a cost per ton.
You could make subbase, pipe bedding or general fill
Many people are renting just excavators and loaders.
