Q-tel towers?? is that TV round-about area? Find out exactly where it is and then choose to live between it and ASD. Al Wakra, while cheaper in rent, is not convenient for someone who works and has kids going to school in Doha. If you have kids involved in any activities (swimming, dance, cub scouts etc) You will find yourself in the car for way too long. Traffic can be horrendous at certain times of day and my biggest hint to ANYONE moving to Doha is to choose to live as close to work/school or a point in between.
