I currently own the N900, and have found it quite OK as a business phone.. But there are pros and cons.

This is not a 'phone' per se... Its actually an Internet Tablet..

1. Its Linux based.. So If you're a programmer who has a decent knowledge of Linux/Unix, you will ABSOLUTELY love this phone. It uses XTerminal as a command prompt..
It operates the Maemo OS, which is quite nice.
You will find maannnny apps online.

2. The config specs are quite powerful. So if u run a game like Bounce Evolution 3D, the gameplay experience will be awesome.

3. The camera is pretty decent... 5 MP- Carl Zeiss lens.. Will get u decent pics.. just dont expect to shoot pics of the moon with it!

4. As I said, Its an internet tablet, so u're experience of using the internet on this device will be great. Sometimes my browser crashes unexpectedly, but it only happens rarely..don't wry on that...

5.Integrated Skype, Gmail and Jaber. very effective if u are on the go constantly.

6. SMSing on this phone is quite good, as messages are very organized.. But alas, no MMS!!!!

7. The File Manager system is quite impressive, like Nokia standards. Ease to access is prime.

8. It has a PDF Reader, Document viewer.. If you want a document editor, you gotta pay for it.

9. Battery life is ok, coz it depends on ur usage. I didnt use my phone for almost an entire day, and the battery came down a bit.

10. It is bulky..but easy to carry around as long as u have strong pockets! lol

11. Lotsaaaa space... 32 GB (tho it comes down to 30 odd GB later coz of system files). Useful for music buffs, app junkies and for ppl who want a cool looking 'pendrive'!

12. NO FM!!! That pissed me off a bit initially, but then I realised I never used FM radio :P There is an FM Transmitter, and u need a 3rd party FM Software to access it.

Display is quite good, Its a powerful system that it uses...

So overall, I would ask u to thnk twice, define why u wanna buy it... see if u can wait for the N8 (seems a bit better than N900, let's see)

Happy decision making!
