Another good thing is you can become informed about the religion of others thus learning understanding, tolerance and respect.
If your beliefs are strong then you will be happy to go to other places of worship.
On holiday this year in India a couple took me to a Hindu temple and explained the offering they were giving.
Also I had lunch in a Sheikh temple.
Both experiences were great :)
