God will test anyone he pleases. Just like he'll bless whoever he pleases. All the world over people are afflicted with calamities. Who can say only those who are pious are tested and those not are saved? But by being patient we will be rewarded..Inshallah. We also believe after hardships come ease. And what better ease than paradise? Our worldly life will come to an end. regardless of how blessed or tested we are all gonna die anyways.. but paradise will never end.And thats why we are patient.
