from what I've seen with my friends having a best a friend of the opposite sex, it usually doesn't work out. One will always, always fall for the other. And that's back home, so in this society, I don't think it's ever possible... being away from your family and all brings out emotions and a tendency to confuse one's feelings. But, I don't know what I'm talking about so I'll just shut up. :)
