Ppl of every region/state religion have their own foibles, peculiarities, etc. I am from Bombay and I don't feel offended at all by the thread about Mumbaikars.
1. If a comment is true, I can laugh about it.
2. If it is not true about me in particular, it is usually a common perception about ppl like me. Again I can laugh at the comment or even the ignorance displayed. Sometimes I even learn something about how I am perceived.
In all cases, it brings laughter and that is never a bad thing. We need to grow up and be mature and not take offence zimbly
