Upon reading this promo when it came out on the newspaper, I was already calculating where and how the heck any bank can pull this through (given the simplest interpretation as written on the newspaper)???? Are they nuts giving away so much that they can't have in a 3-month earnings??? And so I submitted to the notion that Doha Bank maybe is doing goodwill to the its clients or just simply wanted to pull in more clients. I almost regretted closing my salary bank transfer from Doha Bank to HSBC. But knowing the actual score, big NO for Doha Bank. Very catchy.
How about those who are not inquisitive enough on the promo behind the scene? They are losing their chance to earn more benefits from their purchases like what Mashreq Bank is offering. So ok ...fine... back to Mashreq Bank credit card after consuming the rewardable amount from Doha Bank credit card.
