as per the OP, his uncle already went to the immigration and was told that visa for nephew is temporarily off. His uncle must have told him this and he was trying to confirm this here and hoping to find if there is some other way...Well, from what I have heard...sometimes the visas are not granted if they feel that they have to ration people of certain nationalities...but it is temporary and keeps on changing. Hopefully you should get it if you try again after sometime.
