His company giving housing allowance so he is paying himself. Am I right in reading that he can either pay cash with 1 months deposit or either by post-dated cheques?
Every agent we have spoken to has told us 1 month deposit cash plus first month cash rent plus 11 post-dated cheques plus QR2000 for Electrin and Water.
We intend to stay indefinately but we don't want to be stuck for a year if things change! Do they cash the post-dated cheques at once?? If not, then why do they ask for a years post-dated cheques?
As for bank account. He has opened one with Ahli bank in Bahrain and they have given him a linked account to Qatar in QR. Is that ok?
As for me, I will ask his company to sponsor me I guess. Until then, does anyoine know how many days visit visa a Uk citizen gets on arrival?
