Actually Muslims outnumber the Jews inside the US, but am well aware of the Zionist lobby inside the US administration. A report by Pew research found that 6 out 10 in the US think that Muslims are more subject to discrimination that other minorities, so I guess the gap is widening!
Majority of Muslims would like to see a more balanced decision making towards the ME issues, especially when it comes to the sensitive topic of Palestine. The consequences of the invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan and the issue of Iran nuclear ambition won't make the gap any smaller.
