Most UK insurance companies will not cover future expats. The questions on the application forms even ask if you intend to live abroad and if so, it's normally a decline. In fact some insurers will not cover you uner existing policies once you leave the Uk as policies are for UK residents only so you need to check.
For new policies out here, then do as you should in the UK and speak to an independent financial adviser, one who is authorised and regulated by the QFC would be best.
At Nexus, we are independent and authorised by the QFCRA (#00099) and have plenty of British trained and qualified advisers who can help. If you need cover, then drop me a line.
