It's really a show of shame by many parents who allow their children to hang about in their vehicles while in motion. I have seen many opening the air roof for the children to stick out their heads and hands...if you stop to caution them, they will only give you a grin, warning you off not to interfere in their children's enjoyment. To them, it's a show-off antics, which the children must master early. This category of parents belong to the over-confident drivers' group, who so much believe they can never get into accidents.
Yet, we have heard of accidents here in which children were brutally killed as they were yanked out of the vehicles because they were not properly belted in.
Of course, there are laws against all these practices, but unfortunately, nobody seems to be enforcing them... the authorities are too busy catching adults violating seatbelts rule and those on mobile phones to notice unfastened children...
What a pity!
