I resigned my job on 12th Apr 10. Before doing it HR dept told to give 30 days before releiving ie., notice period. So I planned for departure by 12th May. But on receiving my resignation, they now push me out within six days and not ready to pay the salary of 30 days. But Qatar labour law Article 49 says clearly that 30 days period should be paid even if releived early.
I have completed 20 months of service. Also they are telling to settle 11 days salary as gratuity violating Qatar law[ as per Qatar law it comes around 35 days of basic salary. I have my indefinite tripartite contract mentioned with all these EoSB as per Qatar law.
They are not ready to follow many of the contractually agreed conditions. Due to early expulsion I could not pay my bank dues before exiting.
Will I get justice thro' labour department? Friends, pls advise, suggest, share with me.
