I know one couple where he is lebanese and she is italian..9 years (NINE!) he was with this girl, "trying" to find the "right time" to convince his mom to agree to their marriage. During this time his mom tried to get him other lebanese girls.. once even he broke up with the italian, went to lebanon and got engaged his mom friend's daughter, but then he broke up with her, got back to the italian..but he never took her to Lebanon, when he was going there for vacation or some family events.. she used to come to his Mom's house but just as a friend.. shortly.. 9 years he was dragging her here and there, in and out.. eventually, he got married lebanese one.. and she is 33 now..was hoping 9 years and eventually alone with the literally broken heart..imagine!
.. and hey, excuse me, it was in CANADA, not in QATAR!..
At the same time i know many mixed couples in toronto..just a lot...
so what i am saying is: it's NOT impossible.. it's just, if he WANTED he WOULD!
but if for over a year he cannot make decision, what can guarantee that he will do it in another year, and another year, and another year..
