In western countries women drive as much as men, and still have less serious accidents. But its a small percentage of men that cause the difference in stats, those in the 18-25 age bracket who drive like idiots. When you see swirling rubber tyre-tracks on the road in the morning you can bet it was a man who made them. In this country I've seen horrific driving by both men and women. (cell phone in one hand, coffee in the other, no seatbelts, and changing lanes erratically all at the same time)
