C Sections are pretty common here in the US too so that isn't unusual. THere are a number of hospitals here in the US that have Csection rates of 50 percent. I had a natural hospital birth with my son but was lucky enough to have a doctor that supported that wish. Even when I was in transition and asked for pain killers she knew I really wanted to have him naturally and supported that wish.
Based on what you are telling me it would be better if I plan to have the next child in the US.
