The system, not the law itsself, is flawed. Indeed, scholars are allowed, and obliged, to issue fatwas when there is a flaw causing great harm &/or stress to an innocent or potential innocent. Bleu and genesis are both correct. And yes, bleu, i believe there were underlying issues here that were not, and never will be, made public by the court. OR....she may just be a defeated woman unable to gather the strength to fight any more. I cannot believe the judiciary, nor this man himself, can sleep well at nite. and if they can....Audhu Billahi Min Ash Shaytani Ar Rajim....I hope she recieves the help and assistant she needs for those 10 children.
