gadarene ... my friend... it is illegal to live together as husband and wife, i.e. being in common-in-law relationship. It is absolutely legal to share accommodation as room mates.
When I first came to Qatar, my first company (pretty big, famous and very "legal" company) accommodated me at their villa for couple of weeks till we founda permanent accommodation. I was the only female in this villa, sharing it with 3 guys...
