Due to Dubai economical crisis..thats where the salary here in qatar got started to get low offer and affected all kinds of businesses and services, to those who like to earn theyre living here..I came here 2007
2,500 QR. basic salary now usually then 3,500 t0 5,000 QR.(2007)- is for Secretary , Receptionist , Document Controller , Admin. Staff or Office Management works
1,500 QR. now is for Sales lady & Promoters/Advertiser's on the mall's & supermarket's and Service crew on the fast food chain, restaurant's , Hotel staff
500 QR. to 1000 QR. is for the housemaid , nanny/baby sister in a home, live out or stay in and construction site laborers , tea boys / girls & partime cleaners ( house or offices )
***Far more different on Engineering / Civil works on Consulting or Contracting Constructions Company it depends on the companies capabilities to pay the salary,
5,000 QR. to 15,000 QR (now) but 7,000QR. to 25,000 up (last 2007)
*** Sorry to disappoint you Drover's dog, but salaries here in qatar is really affected on that Dubai's crisis, its better to earn a low life job than to earn in big amount of cash that comes in thiefry or illegal way..
