Yeah, need to also know the roads in case a landcruiser comes flying round the bend and squashes you. At night, it's easier to see and avoid crashing into them (as the headlights are on) BUT, during the day time.. better know the route and the unspoken which way going in and which way out. And somebody better have a gps.

But like I said, the organized ones are ok but expensive. Ruby, why don't you meet with TCOM and his family and then follow them on one of their trips? It'll be fun! And definitely much safer.
