Aussiedad I would lean towards time to, but where they cut makes no sense. There are places where you could cut a scene and nobody would lose the plot, but these cuts took place in the MIDDLE of some scenes, ie: Alien female jumps up to kick a dog type creature, splice while she's in mid-air, suddenly the fights all over and you've no idea what happened and they come back in mid sentence.

All I can assume is there was a flash of CGI butt that someone found inappropriate.
