And while people have been mauled by dogs, the percentage of maulings to the number of people in the world who own dogs is quite small. And many countries put strict regulations on owning certain types of dogs, like German Shephards, Rottweilers & Pitt Bulls as they are considered dangerous.
The fact of the matter with exotic animals is that it's not a question of IF you'll be attacked it's a question of WHEN you'll be attacked.
And I'm not sure which videos you're watching, but I've never seen a Hollywood star flash is exotic pet, in fact most of them belong to groups which are dead set against this kind of thing.
