Though I am not a QP employee but the Family Status means that your employer company would arrange visas for your wife & kids...provide a family accomodation...would be responsible for their health & medical insurance...would be responsible for the education upto 3 (maybe 4) kids...would pay you for your wife & upto 3 (maybe 4) children's airfare to your home country once a year....& a few more privilages as well.
