guys(muslims), don't be as usual so defensive, ok, every educated muslim knows what Jihad is, it's your role now, as educated, to eliminate the word from the media dictionary, and replace it by english word, such as struggle, self control, or whatever that replace the arabic word used by the media.
did you ever ask yourselves why was this word specifically referred to in it's original pronounciation? whose scheme was that? why any other word from arabic found its relative translation except when it comes to islamic concepts? i'm quite sure the media could have found an appropriate translation, yet they just used the arabic term to give more frightening and religious meaning to the word.
