reminds me of the time when the labour dept. refused to issue me a labour permit citing that the terms on my contract were not enough.my qualification needed a higher pay plus allowances in the contract.when i took the returned application back to my then-GM,he asked for a new contract to be made as per the requirements of the Labour dept. (according to which i had a basic pay of QR.6000+housing allowance+company car+yearly two-way ticket+other allowances) AND another letter to be typed out stating that i am fully aware that the contract has been revised to meet govt. requirements and that i shall make no claims on the terms mentioned within...which i was required to sign before they gave me the new contract....
funny,eh?
