Just have a friendly approach with the country, adapt and work on an acceptable change approach to agree with you as an expat and the locals.
I've been hearing many expats (families) who've been in Qatar for long and consider it home, but they have always been considered and treated as second in rank, they sort of feel torn in the middle. Another thing for the government to tackle among other priorities.
