Hey, MaxDan, welcome. No need to buy a cat here, there are more than enough free ones to go around! Every dumpster has a kitty, every compound has its share of cats who are looking for a home. You will have your choice. But you will need to spay or neuter your pet and keep up with their shots, etc. The vet's charges are about the same as they are anywhere else. Food and litter might be a little more since it's all imported.
