I agree with you to an extent CE. There are always all kinds of children in any class, some are genius and and some are average and some just take their own time. But that's everywhere and this is where an education system comes in.
I agree with you that teaching everything on computers is not good for KG children, but TNG never said that this will be the case. But I like the idea that they will be introduced to computers and will be taught and allowed to play/work on it under supervision. A child in KG can be disciplined so that he understands when he can use something he likes and when he cannot.
But yes you are right there are many other things in which children must participate for proper grooming and education, and I will never put my son in a school in which there are no such activities.
I like your "wearing thick glasses" comment :) Don't let your children watch TV for too long, neither let them play on a CRT monitor, if they like to play games on computer, make sure you have a good quality LCD screen, which emits very little radiations compared to a CRT TV or monitor. And you cannot avoid glasses if they have been wired in the genes :) TV and radiations can only contribute to an extent, main reason is that the problem is already programmed in our genes. So lets hope this is not the case.
