I absolutely loved it and you can walk everywhere you would want to go. I have also been to Nice/Monaco/Monte Carlo (OK, but a little too ritzy for my taste. Villefrance, which is inbetween those three was much more my style. Marsille is nice, but Florence was my favorite. I have never had a problem not knowing how to speak French. Only one rude waiter in Paris. I just didn't leave him a tip!
