we had recently renewed our RP. What I understand about family visa is when your 1st entry in Qatar, they will grant you a 5-year visa validity. From the first time you applied for your sponsorship for your wife & children, the documents you submitted to the Dept. of Labor (because your the sponsor of your family), it it will be requested from you after the 5-yr visa lapsed. If you belong to the same company (the same sponsor/employer since arrival in Qatar), they (labor) will only ask a letter from your company stating you're presently working there, your ID, your Kahramaa bill (to know your current address), passport copy of of your wife & children. It's a sort of updating your data in their system. However, if you changed employer/sponsor within the 5-yr term, they may request additional requirements from you such as bank statements, marriage contracts,birth certs, house rental contracts & others.
