I indeed missed the 4th Septemeber bazaar but after reading that it didnt have the things which truly represent Malaysian cuisine I now feel I didn't miss much.

In my opinion should there be a bazaar held on the 11th September..it needs the following:

1) Beef / chicken satay along with complete condiments (peanut sauce, rice cube, cucumbers and onions).
2) Teh tarik..where the teh is an actual tarik
3) All types of char keoy teow (CKT)
5) Murtabak you already have so I can give you that one
4) If all above are there..then only mojo is there :P

Most may or may not know, char keoy teow are flat rice noodles mixed in soy sauce, chicken, beef, vegetables, blended in with egg, all cooked in a wok within few minutes.

Teh tarik is close relative to your normal tea or karak as found in the corners stands but teh tarik is your normal tea blended with evaporative and condensed milk (somtimes as recipe differs).

When I mention the teh needs to be tarik..it refers tea being pulled (tarik means pull / yank) when being poured so hoard amounts of bubbles are formed.

In any case, im not a malay but really love the cuisine, regardless how many times I pass by Malaysia.
