I have to agree with coelacanth, common sense would tell you that parking on a bend is not senisble and excusing the fact by saying there is a restaurant close by just doesn't wash. At least in future you will pay more attention to where you can legally park and avoid a fine.
Just because others do things wrong don't be a lemming !
