was decidedly subpar. In general I think Bosnian cinematography has went down the drain after the war, and much as I despise Kusturica's later work, "Father on a Business Trip" and "Do you Remember Dolly Bell?" were cornerstones. "Time of the Gypsies" was the beginning of him losing it, before he became a politicant and ruined his rep.

"Perfect Circle" is perhaps still the best Bosnian war-movie (they're all war or post-war really, a terrible cliche). "Summer in the Golden Valley" was largely ignored but remains one of the better movies out of Bosnia in recent years...

The dad from "Fuse" plays perhaps the lead role in "The Marathon Family". An unsung hero of ex-Yugoslavian acting for sure.

I loved "Goodbye Lenin" but can't watch it again. It hits way too close to home in some respects. A buddy of mine back in West Virginia of all places made me watch it one boring sunday afternoon...I wasn't left unshaken...
