I got my phone in a swimming pool once too, i did the battery thing, took it a part someways, then i actually washed the phone with normal water, well masaffi, to get all the chlorine out of it etc quick blast with the hair dryer, then dumped it in a bowl of rice and left it in the sun. from about 6am till 10pm, i still use this phone now and it's been about a year since it happened.
