In AD, you could stand anywhere and in 5 minutes you will find a taxi passing by. It takes 5 QR to get from end to end with a cab. Doha, like another bloody Gulf mess when it comes to urban planning (Dubai) has to do these kind of retarded stunts to "add value" to their services. I've been in destitute countries and they didn't have such a shambles of an urban transport system. Fact: expensive buses do not make a transport system, planned, efficient, well thought out network and scheduling do!
