I think my English is very poor or I am not able to explain what I am looking for?
Let me remind you one thing... There are different kind of charities... One kind of charity is totally from your personal pocket for which I fully agree that God does not like those people who give the charity and announce in public.
Second thing, in this case, this Qr. 1000 is not from my pocket.. it was given to me in a promotion by Vodafona.
And the mobile set i am just giving to make a call. So once the credit is used I will take back my mobile as sim card.
Coming to the point why I posted on QL to the public is only one reason that I tried myself to find some needy people but couldn't and since this promotion will end by 30 Sept. the money is the card will be lost?
So tell me should I just waste this money if I don't find anyone by myself of it is better to ask people if they know some people who are in need?
I got very good response from QL Community members and tomorrow I will be visiting those places.
This does not means that I am denying what you said is wrong.. I do agree with you but again whatever charity i do from my income remains between me and my Allah.
As stated in Quran:
"Believers! Do not nullify your acts of charity by stressing your benevolence and causing hurt as does he who spends his wealth only to be seen by men and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. The example of his spending is that of a rock with a thin coating of earth upon it: when a heavy rain smites it, the earth is washed away, leaving the rock bare; such people derive no gain from their acts of charity. Allah does not set the deniers of the Truth on the right way. (2:262 - 264)"
