isnt it kind of harsh to say that "practices that aren't doing all too well or greedy practices agree to their conditions"..

yes, it is a hassle for the concerned practices. but convenient for the patients.. I am not aware of the time taken for the concerned practices to get reimbursed but they would surely taken all this into consideration before signing up for this direct billing agreement. If I had a clinic and would have to wait for a year to get reimbursed by the insurance company, i would say no to this agreement.

But there are a lot of other clinics that have direct billing agreements and some of them are good places as well.
