Oh, yes, they do mind, Arien! I was 2 kgs over on my baggage allowance for my two checked bags and they made me take that amount out of my checked luggage and put it in my carry-on. THEN they wanted to weigh my carry-on and insisted it be under 7 kg (it was)! I protested that as a privilege club member I got extra weight and they informed me I wasn't a high enough "color." As a BA gold club member I found the whole thing somewhat annoying.
