brian, you might be big, but can you read, man?

what granny said was "If you were one of the 1st 1,000 and feel you were taken adavantage of then please send me your mobile number and I will gladly refund your costs"

now i'm a foreigner and all, but they way i had english beaten into me results in me reading that as an offer to a person. of course, other unhappy individuals could see it and ask for the same thing, but you're nearly losing the run of yourself if you manage to read that as a "promise [of] a full refund for the first 1,000 customers"

sorry to pick on you but this is a symptom of what's going on here. people seem throw accusations of lying around the place like rice at a wedding. and what good does it do?

just because you don't agree with someone, or because you slice the salami differently, the other lad/lassie's not necessarily lying. have yiz ever heard of honest differences?

let's face it, if Qtel's been a monopoly since adam was in nappies then the great likelihood is that they're not doing the best job they could do for Qatar if a bit of competition made them fitter.

vodafone's just started its engine and its not surprising that there's a few squeaks and rattles to be ironed out.

let's have a bit of a gas here about what works with one or the other and leave all the accusations out of it. i've seen quite a few differences of opinion in this thread and its very enjoyable mostly, but for all the accusations and all I don't see any outright dishonesty

i switched to Vodafone because when i roam home it'll be cheaper and i use my mobile for the odd call home that will now be included with my plan, but that won't work for everyone. what's so bad about that? the idea is to have two competing operators not to replace one monopoly with another. right?
