I agree it is a terrible event and it's too bad. I can imagine that in Germany like the US they have to be PC in everything they do and they couldn't search him because it would be "racial profiling" or something stupid like that. Or they can't search him unless they can search her etc.
If you have ever seen a someone stab sommone else it doesn't take long, it's not like in the movies where it is in slo-mo and as the story says they did hit the husband, so they did react, shooting in a crowd that is in a panic is not easy. Screw a life sentence, an eye for an eye. Yes I know all you beautiful people are already in an uproar about the death sentence but at least if he is dead he won't get anyone else.
