Even if you get a sim enabled for Blackberry service and use it on an iPhone, the charges are still out of this world. In fact, you get lousy 10MB free transfer per month, for paying QR125. I think it is QR5 cheaper with Mobinet where you can get 12MB for QR120 (QR20 service fee worth 2MB, and another 10MB for QR100 at a price of QR10/MB).
Qtel has never thought of mobility using mobile phones themselves. It is all for bigger devices (laptops et al), where you have a 15GB plan for QR400/month etc.
