I was referring to the Anti-miscegenation law in the Colony of Maryland, which was passed in 1664, although technically I guess that wasn't the US. Ditto for Virginia which also passed a similar law in 1661.
1724 and the French in Louisiana passed a law to criminalize inter racial marriage.
