DOHA Five new suspected cases of swine flu have been detected in Qatar, says an announcement by the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) on Monday.
All the persons suspected to be suffering from the disease have come from abroad.
An official source at the SCH told Qatar News Agency that the first case is of a Qatari man (46), coming from London while the second is of a two-year-old Filipino child who has landed in Qatar from Philippines.
The third person believed to be carrying the A(H1N1) virus is a Japanese woman (31) who has come from the USA.
