Coelacanth, iPhone 0S 3.0 enables MMS in the iPhone by default, before this you had to use third party software. It's good that you are happy with the 2G, The GPS in 3G besides being a GPS device, enables the location feature which is useful in some iPhone applications and besides that I find it very useful to geotag the pictures and the device comes with better performance. (Grapes are not sour after all).
