I lived in BHT for 2 years.
The living room is fabulous - 35' wide, 16' high floor-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows overlooking the bay, the furnishings, grand.
The balcony is only accessible through the master bedroom, so, if I had a party, the guests would be trooping in and out through my bedroom.

The kitchen is small and there are no windows.
The bathrooms are 3rd world poor, small, no windows and it smelt because the bidet and the toliet ran down the same outlet. It took 1 year to fix this! You had to breathe a combination of methane and other gases, but you wouldn't want to spend time in there anyways. This, I guess is Arab; hamam like kelb (dog) is a dirty, filthy word.

In mid 2007, a lot right in front of my apt. was used as a dumping ground for spoil from another building project nearby. At night, the spoil was carted away to a dump site (out of town). This was done only after 10pm, because traffic eased at night. From 10pm to 5am, I could hear the hum of an excavator and dumptrucks clamping down the tipper.
I complained to the Doha municipality, the manager took it seriously. His technical bureaucrat, came up with law #84 or something that said no such entitlement to "peace and quiet". I showed him a regulation from Ashgal (Public Works Dept.) that required all works in residential neighborhoods to cease after 10pm. The bureacrat claimed that that was only an Ashgal regulation and not a law in Qatar. Whatever!
My apt. was in a high floor. My heart goes out to those on the 5th-15th.

The swimming pool in BHT is 19m. The jacuzzi is a dimly lit corner, the sauna/steam room are also pitiful.

I looked at apts. in Four Seasons - dark (typical Arabic type), poorly furnished apts cost QAR25,000/m.

Ezdan is another sad story - residents walk into this grand reception and then sneak into a tiny box where 4 elevators are located to take them to their apts. To get to some floors, you have to switch elevators (go upto one level, walk across and take another elevator).

My colleague lives in Regency. He smells all the cooking from his neighbors on the floor above him, below hima and adjacent to him. The HVAC vents are yet to be fixed, 2 years on. Other issues with the bathroom, temperature control (now fixed).

I guess relatively speaking, BHT comes on top.
