There are so few pedestrian bridges in Doha, and the ones that do exist seem to be in places where there are no pedestrians, such as the one near the VIP roundabout near the airport.
Rather than building bridges, the general wisdom seems to be that we should just build fences to stop people from being able to cross the road, as though somehow people will find some alternative method to cross the road rather than crossing it...
I'm all for pedestrian over/underpasses, however we all know who will use them, and who won't use them, and from that we can probably conclude that they aren't high on a list of priorities for Ashgal.
