I am the first to say how appreciative Qatar is to have the expatriate workforce. We have a very small local population with huge finances and a lot of ambition about where we would like our country to go. Without the expatriate workforce we would not be able to realise our dreams.

However our citizenship policy is our perogative, as is every other country's.

And as for one year olds being disowned on the Corniche I will personally see to it that they will want for nothing for the rest of their lives :D
